Good morning everyone:
I have been getting some email inquiries regarding the David Jansen seminar being held in San Diego. I wanted to pass along the following information to you.
The seminar will be held August 26-28, 2011. It will be held at the Holiday Inn Express, 9550 Murray Drive, La Mesa, CA (619) 466-0200. The cost of the three days is $375.00 and includes surfaces, paints and mediums, lunch, continental breakfast, beverages, and three days of the most fun and best education available in our art form.
We will be painting a soft stroke floral plate, a gouache floral piece and a brand new landscape. Dave is sending me pictures of the first two pieces and is painting the third. As soon as I have pictures of the pieces I will share them with all of you.
There is a $75.00 non-refundable deposit. I can be reached at bksbrush@yahoo.com if you have any questions or are interested in attending Dave's only west coast class this year. We would love to take care of you and pamper you for three days.
Back to painting. Have a wonderful day.

I have been busy the last few days doing the prep work for my class in Las Vegas in February. My mom even came over and helped me for two days. Thank goodness for mothers. Last night my daughter helped me get them all wrapped and boxed so that they can be set aside and wait until we are ready to go. Gotta love it when you get something done early! Will be spending the day getting the new video camera set up and hoping this cures my video problems.
Have a meeting Monday with the event coordinator at a local hotel to confirm room space for the David Jansen seminar in August. Two of the three projects are ready and I will be releasing all this information within the next week.
Here are a couple of pictures of clocks everywhere!

FINALLY!
I have been working the past few weeks rebuilding my website and this is what my hubby would come home to every night. After a lot of help from him and my BEST NEW FRIEND, Blake Dawbon (who I owe so many drinks to in Peoria that I lost count), it is finally done. Now when my husband comes home tonight he will see this........
He actually gets this. But he also gets a homecooked meal. What more can a man ask for??? (I know the pictures are quite frightening, but I am home alone so I took them with my webcam)
My new web address is www.bobbiekoelsch.com , please check it out.
For any of you thinking about building a website, just follow along with David's video tutorials at http://jansenarteducation.com/BuildWebsite.php . If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask and I will see if I can help you... and I know Blake can be bought...LOL
My main suggestion if this is your first attempt, is to use the templates that they give you as much as possible. It is when you go changing the preset templates that it can get a bit scary. But if you build it straight out of the box, it is really quite easy. A lot more simple than the first program I used to build my website the first time.
Come on, give it a try!
Bobbie
